ENTERTAINMENT	The Freestyle Trials Show The Freestyle Trials Show is a new, high-action choreographed show, crossing the boundaries between Trials, BMX and Freestyle Moto-X. As the pioneers of Freestyle Trials in Australia, FLAIR has become highly regarded for their regular performance as the Freestyle Trials Team throughout Australasia. Performing every weekend and training through the week keeps FLAIR’s riders at their peak and has the crowd on the edge of their seats at each show, as they watch the riders pull off some of the biggest tricks ever attempted on trials motorcycles. Stunts such as 180s, 360s, Transfers, Stalls and even Backflips are performed just metres from the crowd, making it by far the top Freestyle Trials Show in Australia.

Performing Budgerigars, Puppets, Magic and Juggling

A combination of puppets, budgerigars, magic and juggling will be seen at this years’ Callide Valley Show. Bringing the entertainment to the show are Sally Terrey and Steve London, known as TALL POPPIES. Sally and Steve are puppeteers, comedians and ventriloquists and they have performed all around the world with their colourful puppets.

The Great Budgerigar Comedy Stunt Team features four budgies performing tricks in their own budgie sized tent. Richard, Charlie, Ernest and Dolly perform tricks such as sliding down a slide, riding a skate board, doing loop the loops, riding a bicycle and having a ride on a see saw. One of them pulls another one on a trolley and one even magically finds a card that someone has chosen and put back in the middle of the deck. Audiences will even see how the budgerigars are trained.

The puppets, magic and juggling feature in A Roving Riot Of entertainment. Sally and Steve wander around the grounds bringing laughter and entertainment to both young and old. While at the show you might see the fast talking Rex a crocodile who thinks he’s a dog, you might see Lindy Lou, a not so little schoolgirl or French skunk Fifi La Phew. You could run into Steve performing his magic and juggling right under your very eyes or even Leaf the talking plant. So with TALL POPPIES at this years’ Callide Valley Show, there will be entertainment for everybody.
The Australian Travelling Fishing Show

The Australian Travelling Fishing Show - Supertank gives the spectator a fish’s eye view. This spectacular 15 metre long and 3 metre high perspex sided giant mobile fish tank harbours natural habitat and loads of fish. You will see what the fish actually sees from under water without having to get wet. Brett Thomson and Michael Cooke demonstrate the many different types of fishing lures on today’s market and will show how the fish react to them and the different techniques used by many of today’s top anglers. Demonstrations are done from an aluminium boat with a Yamaha outboard on the transom giving the illusion of fishing in the wild. All spectrums of the outdoors will be covered in the talks from safety with eyewear to knife sharpening, and electronics to holiday spots. Brett is a former two times ABT BASS Angler of The Year and fulltime fishing guide. Michael is a seasoned angler with experience in catching all the different species of fish. Brett and Michael will conduct shows all day. With-in their demonstrations they will show how to become a better lure user and they will help improve your strike rate next time you’re on the water. All shows are entertaining, exciting, informative and free!
